About the artwork

In Crystal Thoughts, the fragile boundary between man and matter is made tangible. The sculpture shows a silhouette that seems to have emerged from a massive lump of crystal - a head and shoulders that seem to be slowly born from the rock, or just disappear into it. The contours are soft and human, but the surface is hard, cool and translucent, like frozen consciousness.

The light entering from the right plays a crucial role: it breaks through the crystal, reflecting in countless layers, revealing an inner universe of cracks, veins and reflections. As if each break is a thought, each shimmering facet a memory - caught in a transparent mind that no longer thinks, but merely is.

The colours - a deep, ocean green that transitions into shadow and bronze-like light - reinforce the atmosphere of introspection. There is silence, a timeless calm, as if the world outside this solidified form no longer exists.

Crystal Thoughts raises questions about consciousness and petrification: what remains of our inner life when thoughts freeze in time? Is clarity a form of freedom, or of stasis? How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
