About ‘Cuddling barn owls’ by Nina IoKa

This light artwork was created in a very special way.

Just by turning and mirroring a photo of the setting sun, suddenly these 2 owls appeared! I didn't draw the shape of these animals, it literally came into being.

It's so touching, it's actually a light hug.

Embrace your own light.

I would like to share a famous quote from Nelson Mandela's inaugural address in 1994, which I find fitting. It touches me because I see it the same way:

'The deepest fear is not that we would be powerless.
Our deepest fear is precisely our unmeasurable strength.
Not the darkness, but the light in us, is what most of us fear.
We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to consider myself brilliant, glorious, gifted, or wonderful?'

No light is spread if those around you derive their security from your smallness.

We are born to reveal the glory of God that is in us.
That glory is not just in some, but in every person.
And as we let our light shine, it creates the possibility for others to do the same.

My greatest inspiration is nature. There's so much beauty there!

My photo art is created by editing photos of sunlight, water, trees, flowers, the sky. All sorts of surprising things pop up. I'll add elements later if I think that's appropriate.
