This abstract work of art by Pat with the image of a cup of coffee and remote control is in a sense a study of a 'minimal' still life composition. I investigated how the objects are formed (what makes them the object), how they distinguish from each other and how the color influences the form and spatiality of the composition.
The work is first sketched by hand and then drawn into 3D software and in the final step rendered on a high resolution image.
Like much of Pat 'Tez' Blooms cubistic art-pieces this work breathes a certain cleanness and sharpness without loosing the essence and emotion of the subject.
Pat Bloom (Gouda / Rotterdam) is a transdisciplinary digital artist and grew up in the 90's / 00's with cyberspace, graffiti, street-art, graphic and interactive art.
