About "Curiosity in the Allgäu"

About the artwork

A curious Brown Swiss cattle raises its massive head to the camera, its dark eyes alert, its nostrils moist and shiny and full of life. It is an Allgäu Braunvieh, a traditional breed of cattle that has characterised the gentle pastures of the Allgäu for centuries. With its strong stature and calm, almost gentle expression, it epitomises the close connection between nature, landscape and rural culture. The close-up view seems almost intimate - as if the animal itself wants to look at the person looking at it.
The green hills and forests of the Bavarian Alpine foothills stretch out behind it, but the landscape recedes into the background. Everything is focussed on this one moment: the curious approach, the soft snorting, the warm breath. The pattern of the wet snout reflects the uniqueness of each individual animal, as individual as a fingerprint.
Here, the Brown Swiss cattle are not just livestock, but a symbol of a centuries-old cultural landscape in which humans and animals live in mutual dependence. Its proximity is reminiscent of originality, of a world that still leaves room for naturalness despite all modernity. A piece of living homeland, captured in the curious gaze of an Allgäu cow.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
