A girl enjoys herself with her skipping rope on a warm summer day, in a summer landscape full of Dutch tulips. A retro image of a child playing. Something that was very common in the past, but is now rarely seen.
I use photos, paper, acrylic paint, pastels, charcoal, ink and pencil in my works.
I like the look of weathered walls covered in peeling paint and old posters. It is a source of inspiration for my artworks. My paintings explore the dissonance between old materials and new materials, interwoven in the most beautiful way that can create dreamy and melancholic images.
