At the beginning of Spring, the daffodils are there early, the cheerful yellow rascals are frequent on the largest Dutch Wadden Island Texel.
They stand in neat rows on the fields but also criss-cross randomly in the dunes, woods, fields, along the roads, ditches and you name it.
This photo was taken near the picturesque village of Den Hoorn with its recognisable white church.
Surrounding the village are several fields mostly with daffodils. A beautiful sight!
