Photo of young dunes the golden hour on Texel last night. It was a coming and going of showers, clouds and sunshine. Cold and wet but it was definitely worth staying!
Golden hour: The golden hour is perfect for photographing because you have very nice light. Especially if you have been photographing for some time, you know that very early in the day or just a bit later in the day are much nicer times to take photos. Then the light is not too harsh and there is more atmosphere. But when the sun sets you always have a moment when you get a beautiful golden glow which is also called "golden hour". This, of course, is beautiful to photograph.
On the beach of Texel, people do everything they can to create young dunes, in this photo the result of a few years' work.
A nice quiet photo for on your wall.
