On my walks through picturesque Middle Delft country, where the horizon bends gently under the sky, I always take my camera with me. The birds sing their hidden song, hidden among reeds and branches. Sometimes it is just a shadow, a tremor in the greenery, that catches my attention.
In the Vockestaert, between Delft and Schiedam, I spotted my first goldfinch, a memory that still whispers softly in my mind. The Bluethroat and my beloved Bearded Tit also graced my path, as precious treasures of nature.
This work is an ode to those moments. Captured in a dance of colour and light, the graceful form of the Bearded Owl floats above an abstract, flowing background. MidJourney gave this image its dreamy glow, a mixture of warm sunbeams and winter stillness. The result is a picturesque scene that brings peace and wonder to any interior.
A reminder of the magic that lies in the everyday.
In the gallery of dreams, every brushstroke weaves an eternal tale.
