"Dancing hydrangea leaves for a grey gradient" is a macro photo of a beautiful twig with four hydrangea leaves attached. These sun-dried leaves are warm brown in colour, and because these leaves have become thin, the veins can be seen beautifully. The leaves lie on a reflective surface so that you can partially see the underside of the leaves in the ground surface.
The background continues into the surface and is grey in colour. This grey has a gradient, a progression from light grey to dark grey.
The depth of field of this photo is shallow. I chose this when setting the camera, to create a sense of depth in the work. This puts the emphasis on the front leaf, and towards the back the image fades.
This picture could hang beautifully on aluminium or ArtFrame in the kitchen, dining room or simply above the sofa in the living room, for example. (Also of course beautiful in business spaces, such as waiting room, practice room or restaurant/cafe).
