About ‘Dandelions with bokeh’ by kiekjes & kunst

A photo from above. So simple and at the same time so beautiful. As a child, who didn't blow these fluffy flowers away? Every year, they are four in the wind as winter is behind us and spring begins. This photo was taken and edited by myself. The editing sucks you into the dandelion and keeps you looking. The colours are warm and calm…

Original created by kiekjes & kunst.

My name is Jorien. In 2020 I started with photography and also at the same time learning how to edit photos. My hobby is to first take a photo myself and then edit it into a painting. Sometimes by combining with elements of paintings from the Rijksmuseum and often by getting inspired in other areas. I find the way the old masters played with light in their paintings inspiring and I try to apply this in my own photographs as well.
