First double-digit temperatures? This is when we set off at the latest, but sometimes even earlier, alone or when we meet up as a couple on our journey, piggybacking on the way to our spawning waters.
In many places today, we are helped to make the roads safe on the way to and from our spawning waters by protecting us with the help of toad fences and collecting us in buckets and carrying us across the roads.
On stretches of road where our migration routes cross your routes unprotected, please show consideration for us. Keep an eye out and slow down to 30 km/h \ 18mph. At higher speeds, we can suffer fatal internal injuries from the air pressure generated by passing cars.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
