I have long been fascinated by 17th-century painters such as Caravaggio and Rembrandt and occasionally I use the chiaroscuro effect in my photography. I really like the contrast between light and dark.
This tulip stood out in the bouquet even in normal light and I wanted to emphasise it in this way and show that everyone is worth being seen.
