The Bridalveil Fall is a high waterfall in the Yosemite Valley, a valley in the Sierra Nevada in the U.S. state of California.
I shot this atmospheric landscape photo during a foggy and cold spring morning at The Tunnelview in Yosemite National Park. Blankets of fog floated slowly through the pine trees where above the treetops the water from the mighty Bridalveil Fall waterfall flows down.
When the sun came out, the fog disappeared like snow in the sun and the cold was gone in no time to a lovely summer temperature. A beautiful environment and a great moment to experience and to photograph.
