About ‘Dawn at the lake’ by Christina Bauer Photos

Shrouded in soft colours, the lake lies there at dawn. Three boats on the shore, peaceful and quiet. It seems as if the world is still asleep. In the sky, the golden light gently heralds the new day. Even still sleepy, I stand on the shore and immerse myself in this dreamlike morning hour. Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, thoughtless, free. I take a deep breath and feel the colours of the sky light up my soul, what a wonderful gift to experience this atmosphere. It's worth getting up early for moments like these, to experience them, to savour them. I love capturing such moments with my camera and expressing this mood in the picture.
