The logs line the path that runs along the edge of the canyon. Arriving at the top, you are surprised by the view and the colours of the rock. The contrast of colours and the contrast of the trees against the blue of the sky give this photo charm.

I was born in Leens in Groningen and moved around a lot. Meanwhile we, my wife and I live in Assen. The children are out the door. I have been working with photography since I was 16 years old. First with a Ricoh 35 ZF , later switched to SLR camera's of Praktica and Olympus ( analogue ) and now for many years Nikon. I like to make yearbooks of the format 30 x 30. The camera always goes with me when I am out and about.
