About "Deceleration"

Some days life gets too hectic for many of us. We are swamped by a multitude of events and decisions. There are moments when we feel responsible for things even though we shouldn't be, and yet we are expected to make decisions.

In such moments, it is time to slow down.

The sofa in the painting, gently floating on the water, invites the viewer to settle down on it in thought. Imagine the arched roof of this painted cave slowly turning clockwise, surrounded by grasses and trees. The ceiling and walls move under the sofa, dip into the water and reappear on the surface to begin another quiet rotation.

This monumental but slow movement is in perfect harmony with the title of the painting: Deceleration. It reminds us of the importance of taking time to relax and slow down the hectic pace of life.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
