It looks like a painting, but this beautiful piece of art was already hidden in the camera. The sun had just set when the deer were standing there. The photo was heavy, heavily underexposed. But a few simple edits conjured up the image. The blue light is the result of the so-called 'blue hour': the period shortly after sunset when only blue light is scattered in the atmosphere. The noise caused by the high ISO-value has been greatly suppressed, which gives the photo a dreamy atmosphere.
