The Kleine Arbersee is one of the most beautiful lakes in Germany. With its floating islands and surrounded by pine trees on the mountain slopes it truly is a unique and wonderful place.
I was there at the end of summer, in the early morning, in all silence. It was me, the sunrise and the serene quietness of this beautiful lake in the still deserted surroundings.

My love for nature and photography come together in the capturing of the beautiful shapes and structures, that are all around us. I am looking for the special in the ordinary, the unique in the everyday things. I see this in details of very common things, that I capture with the macro lense. Often, this finds a way to black and white images with a modest, somewhat melancholic feel.
Besides these detail images I also enjoy a beautiful landscape.
