In Descending Within, a mystical figure looks inwards, towards a staircase descending into a pyramid-shaped structure.
His crown opens like a flower or bowl, ready to receive insights from above. Along his spine flows a golden-red energy, a snake and a crocodile rest on his shoulders, ancient sentinels between the inner and outer worlds.
The pyramids in the background refer to ancient Egypt and the quest for sacred knowledge. This work is about the inner descent, the moment when wisdom arises not by reaching higher but by listening deeper to what moves within.
