Detailed shot of the impressive Gulfoss waterfall in Iceland with just a bit of a rainbow visible.
It is a fairly frequent occurrence to see a rainbow at waterfalls.
The soft, creamy nature of the flowing water here gives a very soothing, pleasant image. that would certainly not be out of place in the interior of any travel enthusiast.

The Gullfoss waterfall is one of Iceland's most popular highlights. The waterfall plunges in two stages into the 32-metre-deep canyon of the Hvítá River in southwest Iceland.

Do not confuse the large Gullfoss with a much smaller and similarly named waterfall, located in Iceland's West Fjords. A feature of the large, well-known Gullfoss is that the two steps in the waterfall are almost perpendicular to each other. These steps are formed by hard layers of basaltic rock and alternate with softer materials. You can also clearly see these layers in the gorge into which the waterfall plunges. The gorge through which the Hvítá River flows is 70 metres deep, 20 metres wide and 2.5 kilometres long.

You can get very close to the edge of the Gullfoss waterfall. The path is only cordoned off with a rope. Of course, the thundering roar is impressive to watch up close, but it comes with risks. Due to the mist that hangs around the waterfall, it can be slippery here and during winter it can even be slippery as hell.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
