Forgotten places in view
Throughout the Netherlands they are tucked away: old, dilapidated buildings and abandoned barns that were once full of life. With their peeling paint, rusty doors and overgrown walls, they tell a story of transience and the past. Capturing these silent witnesses in photographs is not only an ode to the beauty of decay, but also a way of preserving the heritage of ordinary places - before they disappear forever.
I've been into photography since '81. I am interested in a wide range of subjects. Including urbex, sports, street, black and white, architecture and commissioned reports.
Street photography is my specialty.
