This old heavily dilapidated house has been abandoned for decades, and is on the verge of collapse, the ceiling is already partly coming down, the beams are hanging loose, just a little more and the old rotted-out beams will crash down on top of the set table. The dining table has rotted through due to the much moisture in the abandoned house. There is even a big hole in the table top. And yet the table is still set, as if people have risen from the dining table like this never to return. Or could come home at any moment. It is truly bizarre to witness this scene. The crockery just barely falls through the hole in the table. And there is even a TV on the cupboard, a cupboard still filled with things like crockery, books, games and tablecloths. The chairs are too rickety to sit on, the seats missing or broken, but the four chairs are still standing proudly. A picture that tells a story, any story you can think of, about people who have lived, worked, laughed and cried here. A story of a house that must once have been cosy and beautiful.
