About the artwork

The volcanic crater on the island of Corvo in the Azores is a breathtaking natural wonder that is a must-see for any traveller. Corvo, the smallest island in the Azores archipelago, is home to this impressive crater, known as Caldeirão. The crater, created by volcanic activity, has a diameter of about two kilometres and offers panoramic views that are second to none.

Lake Caldeirão, located in the heart of the crater, is surrounded by green, lush vegetation and dotted with small islands that give the landscape a fairytale appearance. Walking along the edge of the crater offers spectacular views not only of the lake, but also of the rest of the island and the surrounding ocean.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
