A fleeting encounter, an intense gaze and the palpable spark in the air – captured in the rustic atmosphere of a Black Forest bar. In this cinematic scene, a young woman from the Black Forest, dressed in her traditional costume, meets a charismatic stranger. Curiosity is written all over her face: who is this handsome stranger leaning so naturally against the bar? Whilst a pianist provides the backdrop in the background and the warm light emphasises the rich colours of the traditional costumes and the dark wood, a silent story full of tension and elegance unfolds. This work combines a traditional love of one’s homeland with a touch of modern mystique.
