The entrance doors of the Berlin Congress Centre, or Kongresshalle, have glass spheres so you can see from inside to outside. Two times five glass spheres and the two spacious doorknobs, have a special look that is easy to walk past but once seen, you keep seeing them. The convention centre opened on 9 September 1964 and stands in the former East Berlin, GDR. It reopened in September 2003 after a thorough renovation.
