Somewhere in Europe is this beautiful large dilapidated building, it is really huge, with long corridors and many connecting doors, leading to once beautiful large rooms. The paint is now peeling off the big doors, the colour has faded, but the big hall behind them is still of a beautiful kind of blue. It is a beautiful vista through the large upright doors. The light coming in through the different windows in the old building completes the picture. The atmosphere of the past, of decay, of past glory, is well reflected in this photo. The photo takes you back to earlier times, you can imagine how beautiful the building must have been. The floor is under a thick layer of dirt, but underneath is a beautiful chequered tile floor, it is barely visible now. And in the background, the door to another long corridor is visible. You could wander around here for hours. The picture is an ornament for the wall, an image you keep looking at, there is so much to see. You can find more of these pictures of decay in my shop, they are in the "Urbex" album, take a look!
