About "Down there"

About the artwork

Dive in and feel the gentle coolness envelop you. Rays of sunlight follow you. You pause, let yourself be carried by the weightlessness. Silence. You become one with your old friend, the sea. Although you can't breathe, you take a deep breath and feel deep peace and security in humility...

This watercolour expresses my deep connection to the sea. It was inspired by memories from my childhood. The first times I came into contact with the sea were formative. To this day, I often think about how I used to dive for hours and was fascinated by all the life I encountered "down there". The whale in the picture represents me. I hope that this feeling reaches the viewer and that they can dive down whenever they want to catch their breath.

The special feature of this work of art is that, despite its predominantly cool colours, it conveys a wonderful warmth and blends unobtrusively and simply into any environment. I used pure coffee to achieve the warm brown colour of the seaweed.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
