I am sure it was not the original purpose of Atlantic Wall bunkers, serving as a canvas for all kinds of (graffiti) artists, but they are gratefully used for that purpose.
This bunker is somewhere in the Westduin Park along the Hague coast. Most are buried under the sand, but still quite a few are used as habitat for bats. And if they are visibly sunbathing in the dunes anyway, why not use them as a messaging medium.
Every so often there is something else on this bunker, but this text, "DREAM", has been on it for quite a while. Perhaps to give passing hikers a positive thought during the corona period?
This photo was taken during an early evening in June, as I noticed after walking past it a few times, that the paint took on a somewhat brightening effect at a certain light setting. With that, the summer evening sky is always a rewarding background and mood enhancer.
"It's all about composition" For me, it's not about the subject or how complex it is. You can make up the story to go with it. It's much more interesting from which angle you look at it.
