Dreaming a summerly dream is actually something I did as a teenager. The window of one's room open on a summer day, usually some music playing, and then just daydreaming. I think you could have filled whole books with that. But we'll start with this artwork. Sitting on her desk/table in the middle of a summer scene, which of course is not there, because she is in her teenager's room. The landscape is therefore somewhat eccentric. It is made up of strange little pieces of dream. Pieces of dream that somehow fit together wonderfully well. Together they form the summer landscape where the girl dreams her dreams. Summer gives the teenager a chance to dream away on one of those warm summer days, after a week that is normally otherwise filled with school, homework and, of course, friends. But for daydreaming, I think teenagers always have time. The colours of this artwork made from, among other things, one's own photo, are mainly beige, white, cream, orange, pink in soft tones, because that suits dreams. Perhaps it is a piece of your own memory that will hang on your wall.
