No holiday has impressed me as much as Jordan. What an enormous wealth of historical monuments you find there.
Surely one of the highlights was the Wadi Rum desert. A beautiful plain with sand interspersed with rock formations. Many films were shot there including 'The rise of Skywalker' and 'the last days on Mars'.
As we drove around there was that one tree there. Big and strong on an (apparently) impossibly fertile part of the plain.
Enough shade for the dromedary's 2 riders.
I did have to walk back there for 15 minutes through the scorching heat because the driver refused to turn around. But this was more than worth it to me. I personally love this picture.
