Always had a weakness for paper. There are many different kinds that all feel different and react differently to glue and moisture during processing. I love that, that unpredictability.
My inspiration often comes from just a single snippet or image. In this case, of course, it was the head of the eagle. The American license plate emphasizes that this is an American eagle.
At the bottom right, tucked away, it says, "Be aware of what's going on. For that reason I chose the music paper (literally) and the fish that had better be on its guard. ;-)
Everyone feels that eagle near them from time to time.
I love that people say: I see more and more, the longer I look.

After 15 years of working as a copywriter/photographer in the magazine business, I recently chose a life without deadlines again. I've always had a great love for paper. Receipts, gift-wrapping paper, old photos, yellowed paper from old books, magazines. Saved a lot and I'm glad about that now!
