"Earth" is Passion, Feeling & Power.
Nothing is as beautiful and changeable as our Mother Earth. No day is the same, every blade of grass, snowflake, tree, animal, plant and human being is unique. And everything has its own structure and radiance.
Earth is an ode to the power of nature. How we as humans are able to make something out of nothing.
Originating from an uncertain beginning, ending in a powerful play of colour and form. By looking at "Earth" a little longer, you keep discovering new animals, plants and rivers, but also peace and emptiness.
This work put my feet firmly back on earth. It makes me realise the opportunities we are all given to do what makes us happy with confidence.
The small pine trees that were allowed to emerge spontaneously give you the feeling of a winter landscape immersed in warm earthy tones, from deep dark brown, to warm ochre and orange. And the soft lilacs, pinks and yellows give it a happy summer touch and complete the play of colour and shape.
"Earth" is an acrylic painting made wet in wet. The paint is thin and liquid and is given all the space it needs to merge with another colour, or to make razor-sharp lines, marking the boundary. Just as we humans are also allowed to do.
"Earth" will give every interior style its own look because the buyer is a human being with passion, feeling and strength.
Earth is an abstract expression of my own deep inner experience.
