This nature-inspired print centres on the idea of repetition. The large back shape is an enlarged, softer echo of the inner circle, as if the pigment is breathing, expanding and returning to its centre.
While painting, I let water and pigment determine their own rhythm: no forcing, no correction, just following what emerges. As always, the circular form arose as a small ritual, a return to attention and stillness. As a result, it is not perfect geometry, but a natural movement that is alive and pulsates organically.
The colours move between cool mineral blue, night blue and light grey-brown. The work feels calm, clear and grounded without being heavy, as if watching a horizon slowly dissolve into sky and water.
These shades fit seamlessly with Blue Motion 2026: a trend that focuses on soft movement, deep blues and airy transitions. It is a palette that brings calm without being chilly, a quieter, more modern form of coastal calm.
The colour family consists of: Mellow Flow (light blue), Slow Swing (night blue), Free Groove (deep royal blue) and Light Move (cloud grey-blue).
This digital art fits effortlessly into Japandi, Scandinavian, Minimalist and Natural Calm interiors. It is made for people looking for space, stillness and subtlety in their homes.
It is a work that does not scream, but is present.
A visual pause.
A place to land for a while.
