There, where the ocean embraces the scorched flanks of the earth,
A ghostly white ship rests on the serene waves.
The light of sunset, cascading gold and amber,
Paints the sea and the beach with a veil of ephemeral flames.
The waves, fringed with foam, hem in the dark sand,
And the cliff rises, a giant with shoulders of embers,
Unchanging guardian of a world suspended between water
And the sky, which will soon fall asleep under the weight of the stars.
In this moment of tranquillity, where all is contrast,
The boat, motionless, listens to the song of the deep,
And the beach, deserted, awaits the night's caress,
While the sun's final kiss whispers a farewell.
A solitary silhouette, the boat seems to meditate,
On the grandeur of infinity, on the fleetingness of the moment,
And on the pure beauty born of the embrace
Between the fury of the elements and the peace of nature.
