2019 was the last time I visited Scotland. And unfortunately far too briefly. In the last four years, the possibilities for travel and camera equipment have changed a lot. The colours and clarity of the image here are particularly impressive. For lunch, my family and I climbed Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh. Normally during this time there are many people out and about, it is hot, the shadows harsh. So for a photographer you are far from ideal conditions. But working with the right settings, good filters and appropriate post-processing allows for intense and detailed images.
Compared to the cloudy Edinburgh of 4 years ago, where I had only taken a day's break from work, this image not only reflects a stunning city. It shows how my situation has changed over the last few years and what skills and opportunities I have gained.
