About the artwork

Eilean Donan Castle is certainly not the most beautiful and certainly not the most interesting castle in Scotland, and yet it is one of the most photographed. It owes this to its breathtaking location: strategically, on a small island, at the confluence of three lakes, Loch Duich, Loch Long and the wide Loch Alsh. The inside of the castle is disappointing: two shabbily furnished rooms with a few family portraits, nothing more. Eilean Donan Castle is an originally thirteenth-century castle, located 0.8 kilometres from Dornie, on an island in Loch Duich in Scotland's Highland region. At the beginning of the eighteenth century, the castle was blown up. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Eilean Donan Castle was extensively restored and opened to the public. And typically Scottish, it rained and thundered almost all day, The cloudscapes kept changing from light to dark.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
