The Empire State Building is a skyscraper 381 feet tall. It was the third tallest building in the city through 2016. It was the tallest in the world from 1931 until the construction of the North Tower of the World Trade Center in 1971. After the September 11, 2001 attacks, it was again the tallest building in New York until One World Trade Center took over. A beautiful iconic building that you can also see inside.
