The Edmundsklamm gorge in Bohemian Switzerland is a place straight out of a fairy tale. Surrounded by moss-covered rocks, dense mixed forest and a gently flowing stream, the scenery is almost supernatural. Especially in autumn, when the leaves turn bright shades of yellow and orange, this landscape has a magical atmosphere. The old boathouse on the riverbank reinforces the impression of having been transported to another time or world - you almost think a goblin or fairy might be peeking round the corner. The mirror-smooth surface of the water perfectly captures the colours and shapes of the surroundings and creates a calm, almost meditative atmosphere. This picture was taken early one morning when the fog had just lifted and the first rays of sunlight touched the scenery. For me personally, it is one of the most impressive motifs from the region - a real place of longing for nature and photography lovers.
