The Erasmus Bridge (1996), named after the Dutch priest and humanist Erasmus. The nickname, the swan, comes because of the shapes and lines of the construction, it looks like a swan is floating on the Maas. The pity wires are beautifully lit and reflect on the water of the Nieuwe Maas.
The Erasmus Bridge is the second bridge over the Nieuwe Maas in the center of the Dutch city of Rotterdam next to the Willemsbrug.
The total length of this beautiful bridge is 802 meters.
The bridge is known as one of the most beautiful and is a real eye -catcher for the city of Rotterdam!
