About "Erfurt Krämerbrücke at Christmas"

About the artwork

The picture shows the Krämerbrücke in Erfurt at Christmas time - one of the most famous historic streets in Europe, festively decorated and bathed in warm light. Strings of lights are strung across the cobbled alleyway, including an eye-catching star that acts as a centrepiece. The half-timbered houses on either side are lovingly decorated, with some windows lit up from the inside. Small fir trees and planters line the path and add to the seasonal atmosphere.

The Krämerbrücke is a unique architectural feature: a completely built-up bridge with continuous use as a residential and commercial space. Its history dates back to the Middle Ages and makes it a cultural centrepiece of Erfurt.

My inspiration for this image was the special atmosphere that settles over the old town in the run-up to Christmas - not loud or cluttered, but calm, structured and atmospheric. The aim was to capture this moment of quiet festivity.

The image conveys a feeling of familiarity and urban security. It invites you to focus on the details and discover the connection between history, light and the season.

In an interior setting, this work brings a warm, calm depth - ideal for rooms seeking a combination of tradition, atmosphere and design clarity.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
