Off the south-west coast of Ibiza is a rocky island called Es Vedra. It is uninhabited, a protected nature reserve and the island has walls hundreds of metres high that no one wants to climb. Plenty of stories and myths circulate about Es Vedra. For instance, the island is said to be made of a certain kind of rock that makes it a strong magnetic field so compasses don't work there. Others believe it is a place where aliens and UFOs land and some locals think Sirens from Greek legends once lived there.
