About ‘Evening glow over the Atlantic horizon’ by Peter Haastrecht, van

On Spain's rugged northern coast, where the Costa da Morte whispers its name with every wave, the sun slowly sinks into the Atlantic. The light breaks open above the cliffs and colours the sky in layers of copper, violet and gold. The sea, impetuous and ancient, pounds against the rocks as if to pry stories loose from the stone. Here, time feels different: slower, heavier, drenched in salt and wind. Fishing villages are hidden behind hills, their lights waiting patiently for the night. As the sun disappears, the landscape becomes quieter, but never quiet. The horizon keeps moving, breathing. This place is not a postcard; it is a reminder of strength and impermanence. The Costa da Morte shows itself at its best when the day dies-fair, raw and unforgettable.
