This colourful and expressive interpretation of the Rotterdam skyline was created from a unique combination of photography and modern digital techniques. My own photography of Rotterdam served as the basis, using AI engine to create different elements of the skyline. I then carefully assembled these individual parts in Photoshop to create a harmonious and dynamic whole.

The work exudes the energy and modernity of Rotterdam: a city that reinvented itself after the ravages of World War II to become an icon of architecture and innovation. The reflections in the water refer to the Nieuwe Maas, which flows as a lifeline through the heart of the city and gives Rotterdam its unique character as a world port city.
