About "Faces of light: the bearer of the green memory"

About the artwork

This picture shows a figure that is not only connected to nature - it has grown out of it. Her body seems to be moulded from stone, bark and moss, criss-crossed by fine lines reminiscent of veins, but also of root networks. Her gaze is gently lowered, turned inwards, as if she can hear the rhythm of the earth within her.

The upper part of her body is covered in a soft, moss-like green - not a dress in the classical sense, but a living texture, a living part of her. The transitions between skin, plant and structure are fluid, almost invisible. Here there is no longer a contrast between man and nature - only symbiosis.

The delicate, golden-green tendrils on the light-coloured background are reminiscent of botanical studies, of memories of a forest that seems long gone and yet lives on in her. Her skin is criss-crossed with fine cracks, as if she carries the history of the soil within her, as if she is both an archive and a carrier.

"The Bearer of Green Memory" is a face of light that stands for preservation - not in museums or data storage facilities, but in the living body, in deep listening, in silent growth.

She is not just a figure, but a myth: the one who remembers what may be forgotten - and what may not.
