Farm, Cattle and the Gerbrandy Tower
IJsselstein is of course known for its radio tower, the Gerbrandytoren. With its height of more than 365 metres, it can be seen far and wide. This photo was taken just outside the built-up area of IJsselstein, from the rural area around the city. The radio tower now forms the background for a peasant scene. Cows are grazing in the meadow of a farm. Leaves on the trees sprouted from their buds not so long ago. In this black and white version, fine details and nuances are beautifully rendered, creating a calm and timeless image.
