Watercolour showing a landscape with a number of farms. Andre Idserda (Ter Apel, 16 March 1879 - Hilversum, 2 February 1952) was a Dutch painter in the first half of the 20th century. André Idserda grew up in Amsterdam. André Idserda worked as a house painter for Verkade for a while and moved to Antwerp in 1898. Idserda married the artist Coba van der Lee and went to live in Mol, Belgium. He later went back to live in the Netherlands, in Meppel, where he set up a houseboat ("La Lutte"). Meppel then had an artists' association called "Kunst en Vriendschap".
