About the artwork

The first Ferrari 250 GTO was introduced in Italy in 1963 and the very next year it won the prestigious Drivers' Championship. Since then it has won many other prestigious championship including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Italy, and the Salon International de auto. The bodywork was redesigned again to gain a more aerodynamic look and the new triangular grille was adopted from the 1960 GTO and used on the new bizzarrini racing cars. The new kidney shaped 'S' picked out by the stylist Luciano Bicchieri stood out at the front of the car, the air vents in the roof of the car were also relocated to help cooling and air flow. Th
