Black-headed Gull, Chroicocephalus ridibundus - Gulls (Laridae)
Fighting black-headed gulls. They made a lot of noise and almost fought each other to the death. Yet each time they would come together again, walk a few steps together and then the fight would start again. Impressive to see.
There was a fight going on that was partly in the air. In this picture, it looks like the two birds are forming a kind of propeller. Only when you look closely do you see that they are indeed two birds.
Here they have the winter plumage on. In summer, they have a chocolate-brown head and in winter, a small headphone.
