The glacier lake Fjallsárlón, in which many small icebergs float, lies at the foot of the glacier Fjallsjökull. This glacier is part of Iceland's largest glacier, the Vatnajökull.
The lagoon is much smaller than the adjacent Jökulsárlón, but you have a better view of the edge of the tongue where the icebergs fall into the water.
Via a small river the water flows from the glacier lake to the sea.
Landscape photographer and drone pilot Koen Henderickx will gladly take you on a discovery of the most beautiful places, both close by or a little further away.
His mission is to introduce people to the beauty of nature, from water, the land or in the sky via drones.
