The Atacama Desert in Chile is the driest place on earth, but there are still water spots and salt lakes with animals that have adapted to these difficult conditions, such as the flamingo. The Los Flamencos National Reserve is home to 3 different species of flamingo's, which drink the salt water they can process internally into fresh water and eat the algae and small crustaceans. They always look graceful, especially when they fly to another spot with the mighty landscapes in the background
